Month 3 on TRT with a Practitioner: Settling into a Routine
By Steve
Well, lads, here we are—three months into my TRT journey, and I’m finally starting to feel like I’ve got a handle on things. It’s been a bit of a rollercoaster, but I’m settling into a routine now, and I’ve got to say, it’s making a world of difference. Let me take you through the highs, the lows, and the lessons learned so far.
The Routine: Finding My Groove
When I started TRT back in April, I was a bit all over the place. Between figuring out the right dosage, managing the injections, and dealing with the occasional mood swings, it felt like I was constantly playing catch-up. But now, three months in, I’ve got a solid routine going, and it’s made a massive difference.
Every Monday morning, like clockwork, I give myself my 125mg Sustanon injection. I’ve got it down to a fine art now—no more fumbling with the needle or second-guessing the dosage. It’s become as routine as brushing my teeth, and honestly, that’s a relief. The HCG injections, which I take twice a week, have also become second nature. It’s amazing how quickly you can adapt when you’re committed to something.
The Benefits: Feeling Like Myself Again
One of the biggest changes I’ve noticed over the past month is how much better I feel overall. My energy levels are more consistent, and I’m not hitting that mid-afternoon slump like I used to. I’ve also noticed a significant improvement in my mood. The anxiety that used to plague me has eased up, and I’m feeling more like the old Steve—the one who could crack a joke without overthinking it.
Physically, I’m seeing some changes too. I’ve been hitting the gym regularly, and while I’m not exactly turning into Conor McGregor, I’m definitely feeling stronger and more confident in my own skin. It’s a slow process, but it’s progress, and that’s what matters.
The Challenges: Not All Smooth Sailing
Of course, it hasn’t all been smooth sailing. There have been a few bumps along the way. For one, I’ve had to be really disciplined about sticking to my routine. Missing an injection or forgetting to take my HCG can throw me off for days, and it’s not a pleasant experience. I’ve also had to deal with the occasional mood swing, which can be frustrating, especially when I’m trying to keep things balanced for Jenny and the kids.
Another challenge has been managing my expectations. When I first started TRT, I think I expected to feel like a new man overnight. But the reality is, it’s a gradual process, and there are no quick fixes. It’s taken time to adjust my mindset and accept that this is a long-term commitment, not a magic bullet.
The Lessons: Patience and Persistence
If there’s one thing I’ve learned over the past three months, it’s the importance of patience and persistence. TRT isn’t a quick fix—it’s a journey, and like any journey, there are ups and downs. But if you stick with it, the rewards are worth it.
I’ve also learned the value of having a good practitioner by your side. My practitioner has been a godsend, helping me navigate the ups and downs and making adjustments when needed. If you’re considering TRT, I can’t stress enough how important it is to work with someone who knows their stuff.
Looking Ahead: What’s Next?
So, what’s next for me? Well, I’m planning to keep doing what I’m doing—sticking to my routine, staying consistent with my injections, and continuing to work on my physical and mental health. I’m also looking forward to seeing how things progress over the next few months. I’ll keep you all updated, of course.
In the meantime, if you’re on your own TRT journey, or if you’re thinking about starting one, I’d love to hear from you. Drop me a comment below, and let’s chat. And if you’ve got any tips or advice, I’m all ears.
Cheers, Steve
