Month 1 with a TRT Practitioner: Early Results
By Steve
It’s been a month since I started working with a TRT practitioner, and let me tell you, it’s been a wild ride. For those of you who’ve been following my journey, you’ll know I’ve been open about my struggles with low testosterone and anxiety. After years of feeling like I was running on empty, I finally decided to take the plunge and explore TRT. And now, a month in, I’m ready to share the early results.
The First Injection: A Leap of Faith
I’ll admit, the first injection was nerve-wracking. I’m not exactly a fan of needles, but I figured if I could survive Jenny’s attempts at homemade sushi (bless her heart), I could handle a little prick. The practitioner walked me through the process, and before I knew it, I was injecting 125mg of Sustanon into my thigh. It wasn’t as bad as I thought, though I did feel a bit like a mad scientist experimenting on myself.
The Early Days: Energy and Mood
Within the first week, I noticed a subtle but significant change in my energy levels. I wasn’t dragging myself out of bed in the morning, and I actually felt like doing things after work instead of collapsing on the couch. Even Sarah and Adam noticed the difference—apparently, I’m more fun to be around when I’m not half-asleep.
My mood has also improved. I’m not saying I’ve turned into Mr. Happy-Go-Lucky overnight, but the constant cloud of anxiety that’s been hanging over me for years seems to be lifting. It’s like someone turned down the volume on my worries, and I can finally hear myself think.
The Gym: A Newfound Passion
One of the most surprising changes has been my relationship with the gym. Before TRT, I’d go through the motions, but I never really enjoyed it. Now, I’m actually looking forward to my workouts. I’ve even started lifting heavier weights, and I’m seeing some real progress. It’s not just about the physical changes—though I won’t lie, it’s nice to see my muscles popping—it’s about feeling strong and capable.
Challenges: The Rollercoaster
It hasn’t all been smooth sailing, though. There have been a few days where I’ve felt a bit off—like my body is still adjusting to the new normal. I’ve also had to deal with some minor side effects, like a bit of acne and some mood swings. But overall, the positives far outweigh the negatives.
Looking Ahead
As I head into month two, I’m feeling optimistic. I’ve got a follow-up appointment with my practitioner to check my levels and make any necessary adjustments. I’m also looking forward to seeing how my body continues to respond to TRT. Who knows, maybe I’ll even start training for a 5K—though let’s not get ahead of ourselves.
So, there you have it—my first month on TRT in a nutshell. It’s been a journey, but I’m already feeling like a new man. If you’re considering TRT, I’d say go for it. It’s not a magic bullet, but it’s definitely been a game-changer for me.
And hey, if you’ve got any questions or want to share your own TRT journey, drop me a line. I’d love to hear from you.
Cheers, Steve
