How I Built a Morning Routine with TRT
By Steve
Ah, mornings. The bane of my existence for years. If you’d told me a few years ago that I’d be writing about how I love my morning routine now, I’d have laughed in your face. Back then, mornings were a chaotic mess of snoozing alarms, rushing out the door, and forgetting half the things I needed for the day. But since starting TRT (125mg Sustanon weekly plus HCG), I’ve managed to turn things around. Here’s how I built a morning routine that actually works—and why TRT played a big part in it.
The Chaos Before the Calm
Let’s rewind to pre-TRT Steve. Mornings were a disaster. I’d wake up feeling like I’d been hit by a bus, drag myself out of bed, and stumble through the day like a zombie. My energy levels were in the gutter, and my mood wasn’t much better. Jenny would often joke that I was a walking advertisement for coffee. And don’t even get me started on the kids—trying to get Sarah and Adam ready for school while I was half-asleep was like herding cats.
When I started TRT, I didn’t expect it to change much beyond my energy levels. But as my testosterone levels stabilized, I noticed something surprising: I started waking up feeling rested. Not just awake, but actually ready to tackle the day. It was like someone had flipped a switch in my brain. Suddenly, mornings didn’t feel like a battle anymore.
Building the Routine
With this newfound energy, I decided to take control of my mornings. Here’s the routine I’ve built—and why it works:
Wake Up at 6:00 AM
- No snoozing. I set my alarm for 6:00 AM and get up straight away. TRT has made it easier to wake up feeling refreshed, so I don’t need to hit snooze five times anymore.
Hydrate and Meditate
- First thing I do is drink a glass of water. Hydration is key, especially after a night’s sleep. Then, I spend 10 minutes meditating. It’s not about being a Zen master—it’s just about clearing my head before the chaos of the day begins.
Light Exercise
- I’ve started doing 15 minutes of light exercise in the morning. Nothing crazy—just some stretching, a few push-ups, and maybe a quick walk around the garden. It gets the blood flowing and sets a positive tone for the day.
Breakfast with the Family
- This is my favourite part of the routine. Sitting down with Jenny and the kids for breakfast is a great way to start the day. We chat, laugh, and make plans for the day ahead. It’s a small thing, but it makes a big difference.
Plan the Day
- Before I head out the door, I spend 5 minutes planning my day. I jot down my top three priorities and make sure I’m clear on what needs to be done. It’s a simple habit, but it keeps me focused and productive.
Why TRT Made It Possible
I’m not saying TRT is a magic bullet, but it’s definitely been a game-changer for me. Before TRT, I didn’t have the energy or motivation to stick to a routine like this. Now, I wake up feeling ready to take on the world. My mood is better, my energy levels are stable, and I’m just more present in my life.
If you’re struggling with mornings, I’d encourage you to take a look at your testosterone levels. It might not be the whole solution, but it could be a big piece of the puzzle.
Final Thoughts
Building a morning routine has been one of the best things I’ve done for myself. It’s not always easy—there are still days when I’d rather stay in bed—but it’s worth it. And with TRT, it’s been easier than ever to stick to.
So, what about you? Do you have a morning routine? If not, what’s stopping you? Let me know in the comments—I’d love to hear your thoughts.
